Heirs - Korean Drama Review

EPs: 20 + Christmas Special
Genre: Romance, Family Drama, Comedy,
Rating: 10/10 ^_^

Where to begin!

Well I first heard about this drama when is was in pre-productiom where the cast was still being decided and with already what they had I was excited. They had already had the mains being, Lee Minho and Park Shin Hye. Two of my no.1 actresses and actors. Legit these two being in the same drama which would be a Romance and family Drama got me so excited that I become sad finding out it'll be a year or so till it airs. Now that its ended I can happily give a review worth giving.
This drama not only has Korean entertainments biggest people but also casts other big names like Krystal Jung, Choi Jin Hyuk, Kim Ji Won, Kim Woo Bin, etc! Trust me, you'll know everyone, just watching this drama rekindled so many memories from other dramas which I love.

An overall plot of this drama is that it basically shows a world of a rich and poor girl and their struggle to be together. Pride, Money and family gets in between the two and is the basis in which this drama revolves around.

The drama has its ups and downs with the occasional predictions and what's to come next but it also has a few surprises. The drama leaves you wanting more after completing and this is also done with the end of each episode. The love story between the two mains is cute and very thought out and performed by the two. The acting done by the whole cast is superb and tbh can't really be criticized. This drama has really good sub plots for other characters in the drama and this what makes the drama so unique and well done as a whole. I'll be honest I loved the sub plots abit more of the other characters than the main on occasions. Really sad when the Drama ended :'(

The different perspectives and personalities of the characters and how the cast perform them is marvellous and I really love it, makes the drama stand out. This drama was made out to be a huge deal with the all star casts and plot, and in the end it delivered.

The love triangle in the drama is quite different to your normal love triangle dramas and leaves you thinking. But non the less, being different is what got me to stay. I finished this drama in about a day and half because of the uniqueness.(Would've been a day but I needed to sleep :P)

Only reason why i didn't post a review earlier was because there was going to be a Christmas special and In order to give a proper full review I waited. But it turns out the Christmas special was a massive recap of the whole drama in one hr! Not bad, it cut away all the bullshit :P

But yeah! Overall the drama in my opinion has been the best drama of 2013, beating the pack by far. This drama would be a great starter kdrama for people wanting to dwell into Kdramas for the first time, and just overall performed as a Kdrama or drama in general should perform!! ..........^_^..........
